Raw cacao powder is essentially chocolate in its purest form. It is made by cold-pressing unroasted cocoa beans, a process that retains the living enzymes and removes the fat (cacao butter). This method of processing helps to preserve the inherent nutritional content of the cocoa beans.
 
Unlike traditional cocoa powder, which is produced through a roasting process that can reduce some nutrient levels, raw cacao powder retains a higher concentration of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
